During the heating procedure in bending or tempering, this enamel embed into the glass and becomes a monolithic construction.

Frosting
Frosting the glasses is done by the acid etching or sandblasting on clear sheet of glass. This adds a pitted pane on one side of the glass surface and has the effect of rendering the glass translucent by scattering the light which passes through it, thus blurring images while still transmitting the light.
